featured in Georgia State University's Food Justice (2022) Ipomoea Batatas is a one page monologue dedicated to highlighting food apartheid. It was produced in a series of monologues, Food Justice, voicing different healthy foods and their place in the food justice movement. My food item was the sweet potato, also known as ipomoea batatas, and tells the story of its creation and selection in the human dietary process, and ultimately its win against food apartheid. |
